Data Ports

 Hi Team!

Ok, so I have the following scenario (screenshot below): depending on my condition I need to pass different text to parameter for the next activity. However, it seems that it is not possible to pass data to the same data port from different expressions. Then how should I pass different text?

P.S. It would be nice to add 'Override' feature for parameters. For now, since it is not possible to override parameters with variables, the workflow gets really messy with all the connections and for big RPA projects it is hard to follow on the workflow logic.

Hi,

You can use variables to pass the text as shown in the screenshot. Drag and Drop the required variables on to the Ports.

Thanks for the feedback but we do we have Variables to Pass instead of directly binding the Ports. Hope this helps!!

Thanks & Regards,

Thank you for your reply!

I am sorry, but I don't get how to pass Variables as Parameters to activity. I try to drag and drop variable to the ports or to right-click on any parameter and select "override", but any of these option is not available for me. How do you pass variable as parameter?

Also, just to make it clear for me, do you suggest to create different variables for different text that I want to pass?

Hi Team!

How do I know whether or not I am using the latest version of Studio? Do you have any web page where I can start monitoring upcoming updates? How do I update it in a right way?
