Hi Vineet,

Thanks for your interest in INTELLIBOT!

Intellibot does not have a concept of ClickText based on selector properties. However, within Intellibot this functionality can be achieved using the Click or Mouse components under Action (UI) category. Please refer to the links below to see how to use these components:

 Click Component -> https://intellibot.io/documentation/Components/Details/928a90db-3888-4bfb-aebe-440b1cdd047d

Mouse -> https://intellibot.io/documentation/Components/Details/6882b69f-be5b-4059-b77d-d02950994534

Do write back to us with specifics in case you are unable to perform the operation you are trying with the above mentioned components.

Shiva Kumar,

 Hello  Shiva,

I understood click  and  mouse  activity both of them is very  useful  activity  if we are  using Citrix  and  image  activity.

But  for  web based  environment if  we use  click and mouse activity  and  after development  if  resolution  changed  then  it will work or  not  ?

Please  suggest,  because if  resolution  will change  then image  size will  effect .

 can   you  please  suggest  any  alternate  approach .

Regards

Hi Vineet,

Apologies of the delayed response.

INTELLIBOT's philosophy is to make RPA development easier for everyone.  For example, Click component can be used to click on Windows application button as well as Web app button. Component internally figures out platform and uses respective APIs to perform action. There is a way to override this behavior as well by changing the property “Target Platform”.

Click component is different from ‘Mouse Click’ component, Click uses target platform APIs to simulate click through background APIs. Where as “Mouse Click” uses mouse hardware events to simulate click.

INTELLIBOT’s computer vision algorithms work across multiple screen resolutions and changes to resolution does not matter in most cases. However, for application layout changes (typically in web applications) you have 'anchors' to deal with them (you can right click on add anchor for all actions).

INTELLIBOT does have traditional connectors for Windows, Web, Java and Mainframe type application, where you can use match rules and selectors to work with screen elements. These connectors can be downloaded from our plugin-store.

We from INTELLIBOT always recommend to use components listed under Action (UI) category as first preference and use platform connectors in exception cases.

Please let me know if you have any specific issue, we can help you deal with it using vision based actions.

Hello  Shiva,

Ok  I understood ,  Could  you please help me  to understand how  intellibot   will handle  dynamic  text box property.

Is there any option of wild-card property change  option.  basically i need to  understand  how   Intellibot  will handle  on  dynamic  few  property change  concept  in  web  browser.

Hi Vineet,

Thanks for your interest in INTELLIBOT!

Please find attached a link to the video that demonstrates Intellibot handling dynamic combo boxes (City combo box shows when country and state combo boxes are selected). Logic works similarly for dynamic text box controls as well.

To address your query better, we will need to review the specifics. Would it be possible to connect via Webex/gotomeeting/teamviewer and go through the scenario? If yes, please drop us an email at support@intellibot.io and we will schedule a meeting for the same.
