Hi,

Thanks for contacting the Intellibot support team.

To fix the Data Reader | ReadFromExcel | AutxDataReader | Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 error:

You need to download and install a set of components that can be used to facilitate transfer of data between 2010 Microsoft Office System files and non-Microsoft Office applications.

Please click the link below:

      Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable

 

Note: There are multiple files available for this download. Once you click on the "Download" button, you will be prompted to select the files you need.

  • Select AccessDatabaseEngine.exe

     

This download will install a set of components that facilitate the transfer of data between existing Microsoft Office files such as Microsoft Office Access 2010 (*.mdb and *.accdb) files and Microsoft Office Excel 2010 (*.xls, *.xlsx, and *.xlsb) files to other data sources such as Microsoft SQL Server. Connectivity to existing text files is also supported. ODBC and OLEDB drivers are installed for application developers to use in developing their applications with connectivity to Office file formats. 

 

Installation Instructions:

Note: Before installing this download, you must first remove any previous versions of the Access Database Engine from your computer by using Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. 

To install this download:

  1. Download the file by clicking the Download button and saving the file to your hard disk.

  2. Double-click the AccessDatabaseEngine.exe program file on your hard disk to start the setup program.

  3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

 

Please note, changes to fix this error won't take effect until you relaunch the Intellibot Studio.

I downloaded and installed AccessDatabaseEngine_X64.exe , however the problem persist.

Hi Ankit,

Thanks for contacting the Intellibot Support team.

It appears that you are using Windows 32-bit Operating System and hence you need to download the Access Database Engine for the same.

However, let us verify the OS version prior to installation by following the steps below:

Step1: In Search field next to Windows icon, type PC.

Step 2: Right click on “This PC” and select “Properties”.


Step3: Check for Windows version against “System Type”.

Step4: If your system type is 32-bit Operating System, you can download AccessDatabaseEngine.exe file by accessing the URL below:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13255

Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

Note: In case of 64-bit Operating System, AccessDatabaseEngine_X64. exe may be downloaded and installed.

Step 5:  Once the installation is done, save your work and restart Intellibot Studio.
