Hi Team!

I have the following problem: I store login in a variable with type string in the following form: example\rtext. I expect that when using Set Text component it will write exactly this string in the Log In field. However, for some reason, it writes only exampletext, the "\r" part simply disappears from my login. I assume that "\r" may be a system sign, but how do I tell Intellibot that the whole login example\rtext is a string?

Hi,

Please try using SendKeys component instead of SetText for the same.

Thanks & Regards,

Intellibot Support.

Thanks, it helped!

By the way, for those who want to use specifically Set Text activity you'll have to write example\\rtext (add another "\" to your string), then it will work properly. I suppose it is because "\r" is a system sign.
